Landulph Link

Connecting a Rural Community to Public Transport

Landulph is geographically close to Saltash but with no public transport link residents who can’t drive or can’t afford a car are effectively cut off.  This particularly affects older residents and school students.

Saltash is an excellent integrated transport hub with trains and buses providing connections into Cornwall, Plymouth and further afield.  Saltash also offers health, education and leisure facilities, and a regular ferry service to Plymouth.

The new Landulph Link service provides a flexible afternoon bus service between Cargreen, Landulph and Saltash allowing:

Residents of Cargreen or Hatt to run short errands in Saltash such as top-up shopping, collecting prescriptions, library books and parcels, visiting the banking hub and post office.

Secondary school pupils to travel home without having to get a lift

Residents to book appointments on a Wednesday in Saltash or Plymouth by combining Landulph Link with the existing Hopper Shopper service.

Pilot Service

The service is operated by Saltash Red Bus every school weekday starting on Thursday, 3 September 2026.
