Landulph Wildlife Photos

Are changes to planning and farming practices beginning to benefit wildlife?   As you walk around Landulph parish there is so much to see:  wild flowers, bees, birds, butterflies, ladybirds and other creatures.  Using your phone or camera, snap the wildlife and send it to the Landulph Wildlife Photographic Competition.  

How to enter

  • Send your best digital photographs with caption, your name and age if you are under 18 
  • Email it to LCG@landulphparishcouncil.gov.uk.   If you have difficulty in sending your photo by email please contact Clare Tagg, tel 078666 80971
  • Up to five photos per person
  • Entry free
  • Picture to be taken this year within three miles of Landulph Cross
  • Closing date:  Saturday 12 September 2026

Pictures will be displayed on landulph.org and open to public vote.

Flights in the Dimpse

The importance of a nature rich environment is not lost on anyone living in Landulph but are you aware of the sheer number of Bat species we have flying at dusk and dawn around our gardens and roofs. 

When I first plugged my Echo Meter Touch 2 in to my phone and scanned one evening in July, I was astounded at how many different Bats were visiting my garden.
