Art Club
Landulph Arts and Crafts Club begins on April 13th. It’ll run till the beginning of June then take the Summer off, resuming in September. It won’t run on the two May Bank holidays.
It’s hoped that the art Club will revive the spirit of the beloved art group that used to run in the Rectory Room: relaxing yet lively. It’ll be for all ages and all skill-levels. The old room being no longer available, it will run eventually in the Memorial Hall Annexe, which has the right warm and welcoming atmosphere, but initially it will be in the main hall.
FROM THE BEGINNING, THERE’LL BE . . .
- the core of our own art library, which will surely expand as time goes on.
- a wide range of projects to embark on, or you can ‘do your own thing’.
In either case, help will be on tap if required.
OCCASIONALLY, THERE’LL BE . . .
- a life model,
- art trails,
- visiting artists and craftsmen,
- talks,
- open-air workshops,
- tutoring days.
COST
You can book for the whole ten sessions for £45, which gets you a discount of £5, or you can pay in two lots of five for £25. Occasional drop-ins will cost £10.
The eventual venue is not huge, so places will automatically be limited.
